 My Blocking Diagram:

Clients: My parents (couple in their 50s, empty nesters)

Number of Containers: 4-5

Climate: warm, humid, tropical climate

Setting: Beachfront property

5 Inspirational Words: Light, Homey, Open, Colorful, Simple

Sketching Interiors:

This week, we learned the importance of trees and vegetation in sketches. We learned how to sketch trees and shrubs from an elevation view and also from an above view, as seen in a site plan. Although vegetation may seem like a small, insignificant detail, it can really bring a rendering or sketch to life. It may be mainly seen in the background, but it makes a huge difference in a sketch. To make it the most realistic, you must be able to differentiate the shapes and forms.
